How do I register for CNA West?

Visit our CNA West website, then click “Register Now ” on the main page.

How much does it cost to register for CNA West?

Registration pricing varies based on individual circumstances. Please check our website for specific pricing.

Employees of CNA Member organizations get exclusive access to lower registration rates! If your organization is not currently a CNA Member and you would like to learn more, click here or email membership@cna.ca .

How do I register and use my company/organization’s membership for CNA West?

Employees of CNA Members will use the CNA Member category when registering and choose their company name from a drop-down menu.

For the member fee to apply, the registrant’s organization must be a CNA Member at the time of the event. If the organization’s membership has lapsed (i.e., the CNA has not received the membership payment before the event’s start), the registrant will need to pay the difference on-site before credentials are issued.

Does my company or I have to be a member to register for CNA West?

You do not have to be a CNA member to register for CNA West.

However, employees of CNA Member organizations get exclusive access to lower registration rates! If your organization is not currently a CNA Member and you would like to learn more, click here or email membership@cna.ca.

I have registered as a non-member, but my organization is a CNA Member, and I should have received the CNA Member rate. What should I do?

After completing the registration, will I receive an email confirmation?

Yes. If you have not received your email confirmation within 24 hours, please check your email spam folder before contacting our events team at cnawest@itmevents.ca.

Is there single-day registration available for a multi-day event?

No, we do not offer a single-day registration for CNA West. You will need to register for the entire event.

I am with the media. Are complimentary media passes available?

If you are part of an accredited media outlet or a content creator, please email our Communications Team at communications@cna.ca to request a complimentary pass to CNA West.

If I am unable to attend the event, can someone substitute for me, or could I receive a credit for a future event?

CNA will accept registration substitutions within the same company until October 19, 2026, at 5:00 pm EDT. The substitution request must be submitted in writing to cnawest@itmevents.ca. We do not offer credits for future events.

Will I receive a receipted invoice for registration?

Yes, when you register and pay the registration fee, a confirmation email will automatically be sent to the delegate’s email address as provided on the registration form. Your confirmation email will include a PDF receipt attached.

What is the cancellation/refund policy for CNA West registration(s)?

Things happen, we understand. If you need to cancel your registration, email our events team at cnawest@itmevents.ca. Cancellations for all categories are permitted until October 12th, 2026, at 5:00 pm (EDT).  Cancellations received by the applicable deadline will receive a full refund, with a fee of less than 25% of the administrative fee. Cancellations must be received in writing. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after the applicable deadline stated above or for no-shows. 

What is included in my registration fee?

Your full event registration includes a comprehensive package, including access to all CNA West plenaries and sessions, admission to the CNA West Trade Show, participant materials, and more. We’ve designed this package to ensure you get the most out of your CNA West experience.

Full event registration entitles delegates to the following:

  • Access to all CNA West plenaries and sessions
  • Admission to the trade show
  • All participant materials
  • Opening Reception
  • CNA West breakfasts, lunches, and breaks

Note that the Nuclear Finance Summit taking place on November 2, 2026, is a $250 add-on that you have the option of selecting during the registration process.

How do I pay for the registration?

You can pay by credit card, cheque, or wire transfer.

Can I register in person at the event?

No, all registrations are conveniently done online. We encourage everyone to register early to secure the early-bird rate and ensure a smooth, hassle-free experience.

Are travel costs and hotel accommodations included in the registration fee?

Hotel accommodation and travel costs are not included in the registration fee. Delegates are responsible for their own accommodations and travel costs. Please check the event CNA West Venue and Accommodations page, under the Event Details tab, for hotel information and booking details.

Which hotels are available for me to book my accommodations?

We have arranged special hotel room rates at four hotels near BMO Centre. Hotel room rates are available on a first-come, first-served basis and have booking cut-off dates. Please book your hotel at the CNA West Venue and Accommodations webpage for further details.

Who attends CNA West?

CNA West will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, utilities, Indigenous partners, innovators, and supply chain organizations to explore the role nuclear energy can play in supporting a clean, secure, and prosperous energy future in Western Canada. Whether you’re an established company with a large nuclear portfolio or a new entrant to the industry, there’s a place for you at CNA West.

Is parking available at BMO Centre Calgary?

For more information about parking spaces at the event venue, please visit the BMO Centre at Stampede Park website, which provides several parking suggestions nearby.

Where and when can I get my CNA West badge?

You can pick up your badge on-site at the registration desk on the day of the event.

Your badge is your ‘ticket’ to all event activities (sessions, exhibitions, meals, and receptions). It must always be worn and is not transferable. Please ensure you have it with you at all times during the event.

What language will the event be presented in?

The event will be in English.

How do I share my excitement about attending CNA West 2026?

Use the graphics and messaging from our Social Media Toolkit across your social media platforms, website, or newsletters. Make sure to include the hashtag #CNAWest2026 in your social media posts and highlight how nuclear energy can help build a clean, secure, and prosperous energy future in Western Canada!

Is there Wi-Fi available?

Yes, we understand the importance of staying connected. Free Wi-Fi will be available throughout the event, ensuring you can stay in touch and access important information.

Does the Conference have on-demand or live-streaming viewing available?

No. Only in-person participation is available for this event.

What is the dress code at these events?

The dress code at CNA West is business casual for all participants. Meeting rooms can get chilly, so we recommend layers for your comfort.

Is there a mobile app for CNA West?

We do not have a mobile app for CNA West. Please refer to our CNA West 2026 website for all up-to-date information.

I’ve explored the CNA West event site, but I still have some questions – can I talk to someone?

What meals are included with CNA West registration?

Full event registration includes breakfast and lunch on both November 3 and November 4. Receptions will be held on November 2 and November 3, offering hors d’oeuvres and a drink ticket system for some drinks, followed by a cash bar.

What if I have a food allergy?

If you have any dietary requirements, please include this information in your registration. We can accommodate requests up to one week before the event. After that, we cannot guarantee accommodations. Please note that we cannot guarantee that no cross-contamination has occurred during the special preparation of an allergy-free alternate meal. We ask that delegates also be responsible for managing their own preferences and intolerances.

Will the CNA share post-conference recordings of the panels and speakers?

No, CNA will not be recording the sessions at CNA West 2026.

What types of special accessibility services are available at BMO Centre at Stampede Park?

BMO Centre at Stampede Park is equipped with the following:

  • Dedicated, accessible parking spaces.
  • Paved pedestrian pathways to Calgary’s light rail transit system (C-Train) station and taxi and ride-hailing areas.
  • Designated drop-off locations.
  • Accessible paths to all venues
  • Elevator access at all public event spaces
  • Centrally located washroom facilities, all with accessible stalls and baby-change facilities, and several with family rooms.
  • Service animals are welcome in all areas with a valid Service Dog Identification Card.
  • Accessible primary entrance.
  • Tactile attention and cane-detectable features at the tops of stairs and tactile cues on handrails indicating elevation changes.
  • Tactile markings for permanent room identification signs (braille).
  • Audio accessibility and communication enhancement technologies.
  • Auto operator door controls at hand and foot level.
  • We have a limited number of wheelchairs available for patrons attending events at BMO Centre at Stampede Park. Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

How do I communicate accessibility needs to the BMO Centre at Stampede Park management?

How can my company apply for a booth space at CNA West?

We have limited exhibitor spaces remaining. If your organization or company is interested in participating in the CNA West trade show, please contact our events team at events@cna.ca for more details. Please download the CNA West Sponsorship and Exhibitor Package from our website.

Who will be exhibiting at the Trade Show?

There will be 15+ exhibitors showcasing their organizations. For a complete list of exhibitors, please refer to our online listing or floor plan for contact details and company descriptions.

How do I pay for the registration?

You can pay using a credit card, or check.

Can I register in person at the event?

No, all registrations are conveniently done online. We encourage everyone to register early to receive the early bird rate, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.

Is there a deadline for registration?

The deadline for early-bird registration is August 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT. To be eligible for the Regular fee, register by November 1st, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Where is the CNA West 2026 Tradeshow located?

The Tradeshow will take place in Hall E at the BMO Centre at Stampede Park.

Who will be exhibiting at the Tradeshow?

The Tradeshow will feature 40+ booths with exhibitors showcasing their organizations. For a complete list of exhibitors, please see our floor plan for company descriptions and booth locations.

How can my company apply for a booth space at CNA West 2026?

If your organization is interested in participating in the CNA West 2026 Tradeshow, please contact our Events team at sponsorship@cna.ca for more details. You can also download the CNA West Sponsorship and Exhibitor Package from our website.

What is the square footage of one booth at the CNA2026 Tradeshow?

One booth measures ten by ten feet.

Can I share my booth with another company?

No, each booth is assigned to one company.

How many exhibitor staff passes do we get with our booth?

The number of exhibitor staff passes depends on the level and type of sponsorship your company opts for. For more information, please download the CNA West Sponsorship and Exhibitor Package from our website. If you have any questions, you can email our Events team at sponsorship@cna.ca.

Will there be photography and videography at CNA West?

Yes. Professional photography and videography will take place throughout CNA West 2026. By attending the conference, you may be photographed or filmed as part of the event.

Can I take photos, videos, or audio recordings during the conference?

Personal photography is generally permitted. Professional photography and videography will be taken throughout CNA West. Any external photography or videography within the BMO Centre will require approval from the CNA. If you plan to take video or audio recordings at CNA West, please email events@cna.ca in advance.

How do I request approval to record at CNA West?

If you plan to conduct external photography or videography, or to record video or audio during the conference, please email events@cna.ca before the event to obtain approval.
